The Black Tax: The Black Professor at a Predominantly White Institution

The Black Tax: The Black Professor at a Predominantly White Institution In-Person

This workshop examines the double consciousness of being a Black professor through "the black tax," or the toll paid by Blacks to enter and participate in predominantly white institutions. Through narratives and dialogue, this workshop reimagines how the institution can support and sustain Black professors.
