Radical Compassion and Kinship: Finding Meaning as Marquette Faculty in Times of Chaos

Radical Compassion and Kinship: Finding Meaning as Marquette Faculty in Times of Chaos In-Person

Speaker and Facilitator:

Father Greg Boyle,
Society of Jesus and Founder of Homeboys Industries

Join us as we both honor and thank you as Marquette faculty and instructors and are lead with grace by Fr. Boyle through a reflection on our roles as instructors particularly during this time of multiple crisis (COVID-19, health and economic instability, racial inequity, and campus budget decisions).

In a nation deeply divided and plagued by poverty and violence, and divide, Barking to the Choir offers a snapshot into the challenges and joys of life on the margins. This book challenges us to imagine a world more defined by compassion and fewer barriers. Fr. Boyle invites us to find kinship with each other during a time that feels at times darker than light.

Each registered participant will receive a free copy of Barking to the Choir: The Power of Radical Kinship.
