Teaching on Tap Tuesdays: Using Clickers to Engage Students In-Person

Why use clickers?  And how can you use them effectively to promote student learning?  This introductory workshop will give you a brief overview of clickers and peer instruction as a pedagogical tool.  We will discuss why and how clickers can be an effective tool for generating student engagement and discussion, with emphasis on results from education research.  This workshop is open to all who teach.  Future faculty (graduate students, postdocs) and adjunct faculty are especially encouraged to attend!
