"What are grades for?": a CTL Conversation Session about AI, Assessment and the Human In-Person
Is grading ripe for automation by AI? Is old-fashioned, human-powered grading simply inefficient in comparison? Or are grades about more than data and pattern recognition? Is some grading more amenable than others to AI automation?
We hope you will join us for this conversation together with Assistant Professor of Practice Manoj Babu (Management) and Associate Professor Gabriel Velez (Educational Policy and Leadership), and facilitated by Digital Scholarship Librarian Maxwell Gray (Raynor Library).
This CTL Conversation Series is co-sponsored by the Explorer Challenge Award organized by the Center for Data Ethics on campus.
