From Jesuit Education to Career Success: a CTL conversation about generative AI In-Person
What are employers looking for in prospective new hires in this moment of increasing automation? How can we in Jesuit higher education form young people who can succeed in today’s changing job market? In this session, we will explore some key themes from recent employer feedback and the relationship between what employers are looking for and our Jesuit mission and values in this age of generative AI. Participants should leave this session prepared to connect issues of job searching and employment to issues of teaching for formation, authenticity and personal storytelling, both for ourselves as educators and for our students as young people in this moment of social and technological transformation.
Please join us for a short presentation by Senior Career and Industry Advisor Grace Dunn (COBA Business Career Center) followed by a conversation together facilitated by Digital Scholarship Librarian Maxwell Gray (Raynor Library).
