Evaluating student work with generative AI in mind: developing and applying new expectations for human products

Evaluating student work with generative AI in mind: developing and applying new expectations for human products In-Person

In this moment, we often find ourselves analyzing texts and images to determine whether they're produced by or with generative AI tools. In this workshop session, we'll explore together how evaluating student work in light of generative AI may mean developing and applying new expectations for original creativity. Educators of all kinds—present and future—are welcome to join us.

This event will be facilitated by, Maxwell Gray. Max is the Digital Scholarship Librarian in the Department of Research, Teaching, and Learning in Raynor Library. This semester, he is a CTL Workshop Leader. In the fall, he co-led the community of practice for AI at the CTL. He also co-leads with Dr. Jacob Riyeff (English) the Human Communication Collective on campus.
