SESSION I: CTL Lunch and Learn: Climate Action in the Classroom

SESSION I: CTL Lunch and Learn: Climate Action in the Classroom In-Person / Online

Led by Erin Hastings (Anthropology), a CTL Workshop Leader for Spring 2025.

Climate Action Session I:

Faculty and graduate students from all disciplines should come to this session to learn about how climate action affects education, issues related to climate grief, and what our students—and many of us—are experiencing in recent years related to climate change and action. Special attention will be paid to the 2018 United Nations World Climate Report, which raised consciousness about serious environmental challenges in our world—challenges that affect our students and could be addressed in our classrooms. Participants will learn what climate action is, why they should care, how it affects students at Marquette and across the country, and what we can do about that.

Lunch will be provided!
